UOL & Kheng Leong to launch new condo on the city fringe
SINGAPORE - A new 663-unit private residential project on the city fringe will be out on the market, with the average price of around S$1,600 per square foot.
UOL Group and Kheng Leong Company released the prices for the Principal Garden at Prince Charles Crescent on Friday (Oct 9).
More than 70 per cent of the units are one and two bedders, with prices ranging from S$770,000 to S$1.6 million.
The 182 one-bedders range from 484 to 506 sq ft each while the 304 two-bedroom units are 764 to 807 sq ft.
There are also 69 three-bedders, with prices starting from S$1.7 million. The units range from 1,076 to 1,195 sq ft.
The remaining 66 units are three-to five-bedroom apartments with private lifts, and they range from 1,238 sq ft to 2,347 sq ft.
The 99-years leasehold condominium is on the fringe of Mount Echo, Jervois and Bishopsgate area. Its four 24-storey apartment blocks are located next to the Alexandra Park Connector that extends 4km towards the Singapore River and the Central Business District.
It is also within a 10-minute walk from the Redhill MRT Station. The development is expected to be completed in 2019.
The showflats will be open for public viewing from next Saturday for about two weeks. According to UOL deputy group chief executive Liam Wee Sin, the units will be launched in phases, with around 250 being made available for a start.
"We secured the Prince Charles Crescent site last year at a reasonable bid price (at S$821 psf per plot ratio), which we are now able to pass on value and savings to buyers," said Mr Liam.
"We believe buyers can see the strong upside potential."
